"Life is very short and what we have to do must be done in the now." -Audre Lorde

Kaleb Autman is a Chicago-based youth organizer and artist that attends Village Leadership Academy.Born and raised on the westside of Chicago I saw so many injustices and knew I had to be apart of the solution. My work focuses on prisons and detention centers, state and state-sanctioned violence, racial discrimination and justice, Black and Brown solidarity, and  rape , sexual assault, and violence against people of color. With great power of resistance comes art. You can catch me reading , taking photos & videos, writing literature and poetry, and designing and creating art (mostly graphic design & illustrations). I may crack a joke or two but feel free to contact me about anything.
